If you haven’t heard of the Very Hungry Caterpillar before then, where have you been hiding?! Ha.
A well loved, classic enjoyed by myself as a child and now by both of my children. This story follows the journey of a hungry caterpillar in his quest to eat everything in his path.
The colours and style of drawing makes this a very significant book, which has been expanded into some lovely merchandise that we have been asked to review.
How much do you know about intimate health? What do you do when you think you’ve got ‘a problem’ down there? Do you talk about it? Try to ignore it? Would you know how to treat it?
We all know talking about intimate health can be a little embarrassing to discuss, so understanding they types of issues us girls can face, can prevent embarrassment, if we know what we’re treating.
We’ve lived in our house for just over 6 years and as our family has now doubled in size, it’s starting to feel a little cramped. We’ve made some home improvements over the years, but the one thing we’ve been dreaming of is an extension.
The boys currently share a bedroom (when Lamb isn’t in our bed!) And although when they are older, they will probably love sharing, having a 1 year old and 4 year old together isn’t ideal.
We’re quite generous parents (even though we’re skint) and treat the boys to new clothes and toys most months. Not crazy expensive stuff, but little bits here are there.
Add our generosity to my job as a blogger and you get a house FULL of stuff.
If there’s one brand I’m happy for the boys to become obsessed with it’s Disney. I grew up watching The Lion King, Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast, to name a few, and it’s so exciting to see my children with the same obsessions over the new wave of Disney.
Of course Lamb has watched The Lion King before, but it was actually Lamb who introduced me to The Lion Guard. He kept referring to Kion and I kept correcting him and saying his name was Simba. Turns out mummy was wrong and this kid knows so much more about Disney than I realised!
Lamb has actually been asking for Lion Guard toys for quite a while now. He played with some at a friends house and has been desperate to get his hands on some of his own.
You can imagine his excitement when his Lion Guard Rise Of Scar playset arrived!
It’s almost October which means it’s time to start hunting out those cheap and cheerful Halloween costume ideas for the kids! I refuse to spend much on Halloween. I don’t really celebrate it, but of course, if the boys ask to go trick or treating I won’t say no.
I’ve been looking on Amazon for costume ideas under £5 and have found some major bargains. If you like the look ion any, I’d buy quick as I doubt they will be in stock at these prices for very long.
