So no one actually told me how much having kids would physically age me. The wrinkles, the eye bags, the hair loss – it all comes with being a parent. Even my husband is noticing the ageing effects of fatherhood.
When Life Gets On Top Of You
*I wrote this post at the end of last year when I was struggling with anxiety. I was overwhelmed with my workload and life was getting on top of me. Things aren’t that different, but I have slowed down with blogging to allow me to catch up on everything. Oh, and since writing this I’ve now taken on a freelance role as a Social Media Manager!

Lately Ive been feeling like a failure. A failure in pretty much every aspect of life, but particularly blogging.
I’m not depressed, sad, feeling vulnerable, I’m totally fine actually. I’m just feeling a little anxious about how much pressure I’m under with the responsibilities I’m juggling.
Home Improvements // Increasing Home Security

Continuing with the theme of home improvements we’ve been thinking about quick and easy things we can do to our house to increase home security.
Home Improvements // Accessories Wish List
Earlier this year we decided to do some home improvements and redecorated our living room. It was in desperate need of a lick of paint. To be honest, every room in our house (apart from our kitchen and bathroom) needs modernising.
A few weeks ago we decided it was time to tackle the dining room/play room. Yep we eat and play in the same room. Having a small house means we lack space and storage, and so things can start to look rather cluttered. For this reason I’ve always stopped myself accessorising. You know, photos, pictures, candles, plants. I just worry it will make the clutter worse.
Now that we’ve decorated the living room, and have started to declutter the dining room/play room, I’m starting to crave some extra details. So here’s what I’ve found online from Next and H&M that I’d love to buy for the house.
Weaning Update // Piccolo Review #MyLittlePiccolo
Throughout our weaning journey I’ve been trying the Piccolo range with Bear and I wanted to share my thoughts on the Mediterranean inspired pouches.
When I was pregnant with Bear I was unsure how I would wean him. Would we go for purees or baby led weaning? Would I make my own again or buy jars and pouches?
One thing we did know was we would always give him variety. Variety of flavours, textures, colours. I wanted to make sure I couldn’t blame myself if anything was to go wrong with weaning, and we’d have another selective eater on our hands.
