Here in the Lamb household, we have a little obsession with dinosaurs. You may have read my post telling you all about Lamb’s dinosaur themed nursery. If you didn’t catch it, you can find it here.

Strolling through Next I spotted a number of Dinosaur items perfect for Lambs Autumn/Winter wardrobe. He’s about to go into 18-24 months clothes, so it’s the perfect time to stock up on some clothes for the colder days approaching.

Here is my dinosaur theme wish list for Lamb…

I absolutely love the tops with 3D detailing on the back. Lamb has a couple of T-shirts with this already. A grey shark tee, and a green dinosaur tee. I think he looks super cool in them. So the first item on Lambs dinosaur wish list is this ‘Roar” sweatshirt, perfect for cooler Autumn days, and red really suits him!

I really love these sweatshirts with more realistic dinosaur prints. They look so much more grown up than some of the other illustrations available. Depending on what mood I am in, I like to dress Jaxson up like a proper little man, then somedays I embrace how little he still is. These work perfectly for the days I see him as a toddler and no longer a baby.

For the days I feel like dressing Lamb in a more playful outfit, these jumpers are perfect. The colours will really suit him and will work well for an Autumn wardrobe. I’d team the red jumper with green chinos and the grey jumper with red chinos. Or Next do amazing quality jeans which would look fab with either. Their super skinny stretch jeans are my fave.

Although the weather is getting cooler, we are still having the odd warm day (September can be surprisingly warm) so I like to have some nice short sleeve tshirts in Jaxsons wardrobe. Like the sweatshirts above, I really like the illustrations on the grey tee. I’m a huge fan of grey clothing, which sounds a bit dull, but I always find it looks smart when styled correctly, (I can’t believe I’m writing about styling a toddler! I can’t help it though 😉 ) I’m not normally a fan of polo shirts, but Jaxson was recently bought one and he looks so cute in it, like a real grown up. So I wouldn’t mind adding this dino one to his wardrobe. I would layer it over a long sleeve vest if it was really cold.

We are finishing with one of my faves from the list, which actually doesn’t need to be on the ‘wish list’ because I have already bought it for Lamb. Like the red sweatshirt, I love the text. I don’t normally like slogans but this top is really nice.

I love that now Jaxson is in 18-24 month clothing, everything is starting to look so much cooler and more grown up. We are done with the baby blue! I always said to myself I wouldn’t put him in too much baby blue when he was born, but being so angelic looking with his bright, blonde hair and big, blue eyes, I just couldn’t help myself! It really suited him! However, so did bright colours. One of my favourite outfits for him as a baby was a dinosaur (surprise, surprise) dungaree set from Next. It was in 0-1 months so didn’t last long, but he looked so cute in it. It was a grey set of dungarees with a green dinosaur and came with a lime green striped vest. You don’t often find a blonde who suits lime or acid green but Jaxson does, and so does his mum!
